Individuals who are aged 16 or older may register to use the forums. We had previously permitted children between the ages of 13 to 16 to register for an account to use the Discussion Forums but we have revisited that decision and any accounts which had previously been registered by anyone within that age group will be removed.
We advise parents who permit their children to use any interactive service that it is important that they communicate with their children about their safety online, as moderation is not fool proof. Minors who are using any interactive service should be made aware of the potential risks to them.
